This presentation will provide an overview of delirium such as the definition of delirium, types of delirium, risk factors of delirium and the current clinical guidelines for delirium care in ICU setting. The challenges and barriers to implement delirium assessment among critical care nurses are discussed. The delirium care education program and strategies are highlighted as well as the utilisation of the delirium prediction model in ICU clinical practice is also presented in this presentation.
